NCLA Community Service Hours

  Volunteers are needed to help take down the luminaries at Oak Ridge Town Park on Monday, January 2, 2023, at 10 a.m. If you can help, meet by the trash dumpsters in the parking lot off of Lisa Drive.

We are looking for some people that would be interested in attending TobyMac's upcoming Hit's Deep Tour. Volunteers get FREE admission to the show and will receive validation of community service hours if needed. It's an excellent opportunity for small groups, clubs, student organizations, and recovery groups to serve in the community! Time: Saturday, January 28th at 4:30 PM Location:  Greensboro Coliseum,  1921 West Gate City Boulevard, Greensboro, NC 27403 Task: Passing out child sponsorship packets for Food for the Hungry Age Requirement: 16+ (14 -15 with an adult) *Volunteers will be able to enjoy most of the concert!  Students and parents-- We know that many of you enjoyed making and sending Holiday cards in the past through Cover the City Project. We offered this as a service opportunity during Covid years to help students who were unable to get into other places. We are NOT offering this again this year as an NCLA Service opportunity.  However, if you find joy in creating cards for the elderly and sharing the holiday spirit with them, then by all means we encourage you to do that!  Brookdale on Hartley: 35 residents Brookdale on Skeet Club: 58 residents

  Room At The Inn is a charity that serves homeless pregnant women from all across NC. Room At The Inn will be hosting a gift-wrapping fundraiser at their office in Kernersville on December 10th from 10am-6pm. The office is located at  900 Old Winston Road, Suite 120  - in the business park across from Triangle Fitness and Kernersville Seventh Day Adventist Church.
