Mattress Sale--August 12

Our mattress sale is back again this year on August 12th from 10-5pm! We are looking for High School volunteers to help us out again, as well as a few parents to help chaperone and volunteer this event. A lot of fun was had last year with our students- Lunch will be served, along with plenty of snacks and waters. Students are also welcome to have lunch at one of the restuarants surrounding Mattress Warehouse with parent permission. Knock out some volunteer hours while school is out, you can volunteer for 3 hours or the entire day! Students 16 and older may be dropped off but students younger than 16, PARENTS MUST STAY WITH THEM! If you are unable to to make your time slot, please cancel it and reach out to Mrs. Anderson at nclafcs@thencla.org so we can let others fill your spot. Main Street Methodist opportunities--May 5, 6, 13

Main Street Methodist Church is looking for people to serve at the Spring Folly Parking Lot Fundraiser and the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive collection. Kernersville Spring Folly

High point cleanup-May 6

 Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for the 2023 Great American Cleanup! On Saturday, May 6th from 9 AM - 1 PM, we will be removing litter from different locations in High Point. All supplies are provided as well as food for volunteers! We will be collecting nonperishable food items for local food pantries and all volunteers are entered into a prize drawing. Greensboro cleanup-April 15

 The Great American Cleanup kickoff is THIS Saturday, April 15 from 10 am to 12 noon at Smith Soccer Park. You can stop by and pick up free supplies for your scheduled cleanup and/or join us for a pop-up litter sweep of the soccer park and nearby Twin Lakes Park.  Not registered yet? Kernersville litter cleanup

 Help keep the Town of Kernersville free of litter on April 22 from 9a-12pm! Sign up at one of three locations to pick up supplies (pink trash bags, vests, pickers, gloves). Leave pink litter-filled bags about 5 ft from the road near a pink or yellow sign and Town staff will collect on Monday, 4/23/23.
