NCLA Falconry

The NCLA Falconry uses High School Volunteers for after-care! Applications are online at www.thencla.org, click Falconry, click HS Volunteer. Volunteers work 1-3 afternoons a week directly after school until 5:30. It's a great way to get community service hours and help your school! If you enjoy hanging out with elementary kids, this may be a great opportunity. Spaces are first-come, first-served; spots continue to become available throughout the year as volunteers fluctuate in and out of extra-curricular responsibilities.   NOTE: The service hours requirement CANNOT be waived.   ****PLEASE REFER TO PAGE 30 in the Student-Parent Handbook 2021-2022 for ALL details regarding the service hours requirements. Please make sure the activity is at a not-for-profit organization. Activities such as painting, babysitting, or mowing your grandfather's lawn will not apply. Job shadowing hours do not count.
