NCLA Community Service Guidelines

  NOTE: The service hours requirement CANNOT be waived.   ****PLEASE REFER TO PAGE 30 in the Student-Parent Handbook 2021-2022 for ALL details regarding the service hours requirements. Please make sure the activity is at a not-for-profit organization. Activities such as painting, babysitting, or mowing your grandfather's lawn will not apply. Job shadowing hours do not count. The following will be enforced if students do not meet the expectation of The NCLA Service Program/Requirement:   Students will not receive driving privileges on school grounds (parking or driving to/from school.) Students will not be allowed to participate in sports, school clubs, school field trips or Prom (with the exception of Civil Air Patrol.) May not be permitted to participate in Senior Awards or walk at Graduation Students may be brought before the Honor Court, which is made up of his/her peers to determine further disciplinary action.
